This home , that she lived in for more than 25 years , had been redone as many times as she altered her screen image.Part of its elegant success came through the positive by product of a geniune friendship she enjoyed , all her life , with William Haines. After being number 1 at the box office , Haines left Metro to become one of the centuries truely great interior designers.
