Like the phoenix she was, Joan Crawford's spirit of being and becoming the best you can be, while appreciating those that love and help you, is now more alive than the lady herself.
Within a five year times pan, specials like the TCM documentary, the Chandler book, the AMC documentary on William Haines and his book and www.lengendaryjoancrawford.com webmaster's interesting and revealing story on that daughter of hers and let I forget, the fabulous encyclopedia;"thebestofeverything" certainly the single most intersting site in creation on things,"JOAN", plus the wonderful biography Joan Crawford: The Enduring Star and the Vanity Fair other side of mommie article from the Chandler book, more recently, happily shed new light on the better side of Joan Crawford.
Even Tonner Dolls have a really glamorous line of Joan Crawford dolls out!
All of this interest is very encourageing because although Joan Crawford enjoys her tenth place on AFI's list of the most influnecial film artists of the twentieth century, she deserves so much more and there seems to be a very active community that feels the same way.
And its about time!
